Dr. Peter Uher
Dr. Peter Uher is Founding Partner in the Atlanta office of Traversa and works with his clients to improve organization and individual performance, execute business strategy and bring about desired culture change. He is skilled in designing and staffing organizations that are capable, performance-driven and adaptable. Peter supports individual executives, and their teams, in managing organization change resulting from start-ups, mergers, acquisitions and re-structurings. He has extensive experience in developing a variety of human capital processes, including systems for selecting, placing, developing and retaining key employees.
In conducting client engagements, Peter consults substantially with senior executives and boards of directors. He is skilled in engaging executives both in one-on-one and in group settings. Peter coaches senior executives to increase their effectiveness in leading change efforts and facilitates executive offsite meetings to address a variety of issues including business planning, organization design, mergers and acquisitions and performance improvement.
Peter works with organizations across a variety of industries including, financial services, consumer products, technology, retail and professional services. Over a 12 year period, Peter headed regional business units of international consulting firms Towers Perrin and Hay Group. He also worked for five years as an internal consultant at BellSouth Corporation.
Dr. Uher earned a bachelors degree from Loyola University of Chicago and masters and doctorate degrees in industrial and organizational psychology from Bowling Green State University. Peter is involved in a number of professional and non-profit organizations. He is a past President of the Human Resources Leadership Forum. Peter has been involved with Zoo Atlanta for over 14 years, served on its Executive Committee and chaired several committees including Strategic Planning, Nominating and Governance.
