Dr. Robert Wiley
Dr. Robert Wiley helps senior executives achieve superior performance for their organizations, management teams and themselves as individual leaders. He combines a broad perspective on business performance with specialized skills and deep experience in assessing, planning, facilitating and coaching with CEOs and senior executive teams.
Prior to becoming a Founding Partner the Atlanta office of Traversa, Robert was a Managing Partner with the Sapience Group. Prior to Sapience, he was a Partner with Accenture where he was responsible for developing the firm's global consulting practices in competency-based organizational development. He was a key contributor to the firm's consulting approach to organizational strategy, leadership development and human capital planning. Prior to Accenture, he held partner level roles for a number of years with Towers Perrin and the Hay Group where he was responsible for planning and implementing global practices in executive development, competency management and human capital strategy. He was also V.P. Human Resources for Stride Rite Corporation.
A sample of Robert's key client engagements illustrates his work. He recently led a year-long enterprise design project with the CEO of a global packaged consumer goods company. With a regional electric and gas transmission company, he assisted the CEO to assess the senior management team and improve the effectiveness of its collaboration and management process. With the Managing Partners of a private equity fund, he assessed the leadership capabilities and potential of the senior executives of acquired companies. With a major consumer products company, he provided the CEO with in-depth assessments of external candidates for senior executive positions.
Dr. Wiley completed a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology from the University of Missouri. He completed a Ph.D. in psychology from Texas Tech University, postgraduate studies at Northwestern University, and MBA studies at Boston University.
